Westbound Train – Sing The Ghost Away LP

RELEASE DATE: 11/7/2025

Westbound Train return with their most dynamic and soulful album to date, a bold evolution that stays rooted in the band’s signature blend of ska, rocksteady, and classic soul. Produced by frontman Obi Fernandez and drummer Eric Novod, the record pairs warm, analog textures with inventive arrangements and nuanced mixing choices, offering a fresh perspective on a sound they’ve spent years perfecting.

Standout tracks like “L.M.A.,” “Keeper From the Start,” and “Slippery Slope” highlight the band’s sharpened songwriting and expanded sonic range, while a newly recorded version of “We All Need Rescue” breathes new life into a deeper cut from their 2022 release. It’s a confident, emotionally resonant collection that captures Westbound Train at a new creative peak.
